COST & INSURANCE
Q Do you take insurance?
No. We are a cash-based, out-of-network clinic. We don't bill insurance directly, but we provide a superbill after each visit that you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA payments are also accepted.
Q What are the advantages of cash pay?
One-on-one care means more attention, more specialized treatment, and a real focus on finding the root cause of your issue rather than just managing symptoms. Every hour is spent working toward your specific goals. The result is better care, faster progress, and fewer visits than you'd expect from traditional PT.
VISITS & CARE
Q What does a first visit look like?
Your first visit is a full 60-minute evaluation. We'll talk through your history, your goals, and what you've tried before. Then we do a thorough movement and strength assessment, often including objective testing with our force plates or dynamometer. By the end you'll have a clear picture of what's going on and a plan to fix it.
Q Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No. South Carolina is a direct access state and we are fully cash-based, so you can book directly without a referral at any time.
Q How many visits will I need?
Every person and injury is different. At your evaluation we will work together to understand your goals and build a clear roadmap for your recovery.
Q Where are you located?
We are located inside CrossFit843 in Bluffton, SC. All appointments are by appointment only. You will receive exact location details when you book.
TESTING & PERFORMANCE
Q What is return-to-sport testing and do I need it?
Return-to-sport testing is an objective assessment using force plates and strength testing to determine whether your body is biomechanically ready to return to athletic activity rather than just whether you feel ready. If you've had an ACL, hamstring, shoulder, or hip injury and want a data-backed answer before returning to sport, this test is for you.
Q Do I have to be a BPL patient to get tested?
No. Testing is available as a standalone service. Many athletes come specifically for return-to-sport or performance testing while doing their rehab elsewhere.
